Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) -Fees for Professional Services (Fee Guide for 2010)

 

This price only applies to local Chinese language teachers.

 

(A)Specialised Courses (required by schools/clusters, training provided in schools or SCCL)

 

To provide:
1.professional learning opportunities and guidance (theoretical and practical guidance)
2.lecture notes, information, materials, etc
3.systematic and focused analysis on specific topic

(B)Consultation

 

To provide:
1. Professional diagnosis of difficulties in teaching and recommendations for improvement with reference to the school’s specific needs
2. Full consultation according to the recommendations for improvement, assistance and follow up on procedures leading to the completion of goals
3. Assistance in completion of system, toolkits, etc

The Price above only applies to local Chinese language teachers

Note:
1. The fee does not include fees for other related courses.
2. The man hours include on-the-spot guidance and reviewing/revising of the materials provided by the school.
3. Each consultation session cannot be less than 4 hours. Cases less than 4 hours will still be calculated as 4  hours.
4. The fees will be borne by the school cluster or the school.
5. Any additional follow-up services after the consultation period will be charged at $75 per hour.

(C)Package for Professional Development Leave

 

To provide:
1.specific course content and research guidance with reference to teachers’ needs
2.lecture notes, information, materials, research resources, etc
3.workstations in SCCL during term of stay
4.follow up on procedures, guidance, assistance in research items
5.opportunities to help in presentations of research papers (depending on research results and conditions of hosting platform)
